Description
The outstanding feature of this feeder is the ability to adjust the height of the dome. By lowering the dome, you can limit access of undesirable birds or smaller squirrels from the feed tray. The 12 diameter dome also shelters the 8 1/2 tray from the elements.
The tray features drainage holes to keep seed dry. This type of feeder allows a virtually endless variety of foods to be offered; seeds, nuts, fruit, suet and meal worms.
Tray and dome are moulded of UV stabilized polycarbonate which is one of the strongest plastics available. The hanging rod is stainless steel and it threads into solid brass hardware. Although this feeder is usually hung, if preferred, it can be post mounted on a 5/8" diameter wooden dowel or a length of heavy duty (Type L) 1/2" size copper tubing.
