This model Viper HD 15-45x65 Spotting Scope has an angled body design that is valued for flexibility in the field. The Viper HD spotting scope features highly prized argon gas purging to prevent corrosion and extend the life of the spotting scope. Waterproof optics are sealed with O-rings to prevent moisture, dust, and debris from getting inside the spotting scope. The scope also comes with an ultra-hard, scratch-resistant coating ArmorTek that protects exterior lenses from scratches, oil and dirt.
The Viper HD has such convenience features as a twist eyecup that twists up and down for comfortable viewing with or without eyeglasses; a dual focus that allows for maximum focusing precision with both coarse and fine focus adjustments; and a sunshade that reduces glare and shields the objective lens from raindrops and snow.
Rotating tripod ring allows rotation of the eyepiece to a sideways position - most useful for viewing through an angled spotting scope body on a car window mount.
