Sundials have been used around the world for nearly 4000 years to measure solar time. Our sundials are designed to show accurate solar time. Solar time can be as much as fifteen minutes faster or slower than standard time, depending on what month it is as the motion of the earth around the sun varies.

Rain gauges (also called pluviometers) make great gifts for gardeners and most people enjoy knowing how much rain fell during a storm. The larger the diameter of the rain gauge vial or collector, the more accurate the measurement of the rainfall will be.
