The Atlantic Ocean lunar tide cycle is sufficiently cyclical to allow for its measurement with a timepiece. Atlantic / East Coast high tides average 12 hour and 25 minute intervals. Every tide clock we carry has either a second hand or minute hands to ensure proper movement, plus a tide indicator hand which is calibrated to the North American East Coast lunar tide cycle. (NOTE: There is not a tide clock available for the west coast of Canada because of the irregularity of tides.) Base your initial setting from your nearest tide station.
