Description
Wireless Integrated Sensor Suite Plus (with UV and Solar Radiation Sensors) with standard radiation shield has a couple of primary uses:
1) Use with Weather Envoy and WeatherLink when you only want to view data from your computer - eliminates the need for a console/receiver (which is pretty much half the value of the Davis Vantage Pro2 weather station).
2) Add to an existing Davis Vantage Pro2 weather station when weather data is required from a secondary location.
Integrated sensor suite includes rain collector, temperature and humidity sensors, anemometer, 40' (12 m) anemometer cable, Solar Radiation, UV and solar panel. Electronic components are housed in a weather-resistant shelter.
ISS is solar powered with a 3-volt Lithium battery for backup (included). (Battery typically needs replacement once every 1-2 years depending on your latitude and is commonly available.)
Wireless range is up to 1000' (300 m) outdoors, line of sight. Typical range through walls under most conditions is 400' (120 m).
Mounting pole not included (hardware to attach to 1 3/8" - 1 7/8" diameter pole is included).
