Description
The nazar is a protective charm; hang this bell in your yard and let its hand-crafted nazar protect your home and garden from the evil eye.
The nazar is a common protective talisman in the Middle East. Folklore says these "staring eye charms" are supposed to send the evil eye back to the originator. The traditional design is a disk or ball with concentric blue and white circles (usually from the inside out the colors are: navy/black, light blue, white, dark blue). In Turkey you can find this popular symbol on almost anything - it's commonly found in or on houses and vehicles, and it's often used as beads in jewelry.
